Child-led learning
We value each child’s ideas, interests and individuality in shaping meaningful learning experiences.
At Carlton House, we believe children learn best through meaningful experiences that reflect their interests, strengths and individuality. Our approach to early learning supports curiosity, confidence and a strong sense of belonging from the very beginning.

At Carlton House, we believe children learn best through meaningful experiences that reflect their interests, strengths and individuality. Our learning approach is guided by play, connection and curiosity, helping children build confidence, capability and a love of learning from the very beginning.
We create environments where children feel safe to explore, ask questions, make discoveries and develop at their own pace, supported by caring educators who value each child’s voice.

Our Preschool Program is led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher who creates engaging, play-based learning experiences that build important skills for school and life.
Through intentional teaching, independence-building opportunities and plenty of hands-on learning, we help children grow in confidence, communicate clearly, solve problems and develop a positive mindset for the transition to school.
Our rooms are thoughtfully designed to feel warm, welcoming and full of possibility. Each space is set up to support children’s learning, creativity and wellbeing.

Play is how children make sense of the world. It builds creativity, problem-solving, confidence and connection. At Carlton House, children have plenty of time, space and support to play, explore and learn in ways that are meaningful to them.

The best way to experience Carlton House is to visit in person. We’d love to show you around, answer your questions and help you decide whether our centre feels right for your family.
